 West Assistance Relief Effort
Thanks to all who have donated goods to the West Assistance Relief Effort.  As there is no more space to store goods, there is a real need for monetary donations to assist in the effort. Public Notice Concerning Tax Rate
HILL COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE.  THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 10.577242 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $50.44.

Tax Increase
This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by $1,045,554.00 (11.3%), and of that amount $208,127.00 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
