Becky Wilkins

Becky Wilkins, a Whitney native, was elected Hill County Treasurer in the 2006 General Election. Becky took office on December 15, 2006 replacing Ruth Pelham who was appointed as the County Treasurer in April 2006.

Becky has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington. She comes to Hill County with nine years of governmental experience. She worked in the Human Resources Department and the District Clerk's Office in Dallas County.

Since coming to Hill County, Becky has worked hard to accomplish many goals. Among those are establishing relationships with governmental investment pools, entering into a new bank depository with a higher interest rate, bi-weekly payroll, and implementing a new financial software system. With a strong belief in innovation and technology, Becky hopes to continue to bring about positive change in Hill County.
