Updated - Ban Burn Lifted 09/22/09
Effective September 22, 2009, the Commissioners Court adopted an "Order to lift the Burn Ban in Unicorporated Areas of Hill County". The Burn Ban is no longer in effect.

Hotel/Motel Occupancy Tax Adopted by Hill County Commissioners Court
The Hill County Commissioners Court adopted a Hotel/Motel Occupancy Tax to be effective April 1st, 2008. The tax rate shall be three percent 3% of the price paid for a hotel/motel room in Hill County. The occupancy tax shall be remitted along with the report to the Hill County Tax Assessor Collector.
